Molly Street is a one-woman play about a crime of passion set in early 1960 in the sugar plantation town of Chiredzi. She finds a tragic end when murdered by a jealous boyfriend. At that point, the supernatural meets the natural as Molly's spirit comes back to seek revenge for her death. In an inspired and groundbreaking move, the local town authority names a street in her honour. This story visits issues to do with early child marriages, women's rights to work, the definition of prostitution as work, and deficiencies in pre-colonial Zimbabwe.
